Who we are
A privacy first, medical grade, personalized health digital twin. Made by Canadian physicians for Canadian patients
Omniara is building a calmer way to understand health information — with privacy, clarity, and better conversations at the center.
Who we are
Our Story: Helping You Understand Your Health, Medical Records and the Whole Picture
See the whole elephant.
We believe something simple: you should understand your own health.
Omniara began with something I have seen again and again as a physician practicing in both Canada and the United States: patients and families who understand their medical history and health records — who know what has happened, what has been investigated, what their laboratory and imaging results have shown, what medications have been tried, and what questions still need answers — are better equipped to participate meaningfully in their healthcare.
This becomes especially important for people navigating chronic illness, multiple medical conditions, complex healthcare journeys or long-term health concerns, where years of appointments, tests, medications and specialist consultations can become difficult to follow.
Sometimes the person keeping track of everything is the patient. Sometimes it is a spouse, son or daughter, parent, or another caregiver or care partner who has become an extraordinary patient advocate for someone they love.
And sometimes it starts with something as simple as a binder.
“I have all of this medical information, but I'm not a doctor. I don't understand what it means.”
And my response is: that's exactly why we're here. Let's understand it together.
I have always loved seeing those binders — consultation reports, blood test and laboratory results, diagnostic imaging, medication lists, hospital records and specialist reports — carefully organized, highlighted with sticky notes and comments written in the margins.
Not because I expect patients to interpret everything by themselves. Quite the opposite. Physicians are thrilled to see engaged patients who understand their health and arrive with specific questions. It should be encouraged.
But the reality is that medical records are becoming increasingly complex, and understanding years of health information without expert assistance is becoming harder.
Medicine has become too complicated for any one person to hold in their head.
Modern medicine is extraordinary. It is also extraordinarily complex.
At the same time, our personal health information is fragmented. A family physician may have part of the story in one electronic medical record, while other pieces live in hospital records, laboratory portals, specialist offices, imaging systems and disconnected databases.
For someone living with a chronic disease or multiple health conditions, that fragmentation can span years or even decades. For caregivers coordinating healthcare for a parent, spouse or family member, simply determining what happened and when can become a major undertaking.
Patients experience the same fragmentation from the other side.
The information exists. The problem is seeing the whole picture.
That's why we built Omniara.
From Disconnected Medical Records to Your Longitudinal Health Story
We asked ourselves a question: what if every patient could have that carefully organized medical binder — but intelligent, continuously updated and able to help them understand what it contains?
Omniara is our answer.
Your medical records become the foundation of a longitudinal Digital Twin: an organized, evolving representation of your health history that helps transform disconnected medical documents into a coherent chronology and narrative.
Instead of simply storing health information, Omniara is designed to help you explore it:
What happened? What changed? What do my results mean in the context of my history? What medications have I tried? What did my specialist recommend? What should I ask at my next doctor's appointment? What information might be missing?
Whether you are trying to understand years of medical records, manage a chronic condition, coordinate care between specialists, prepare for an important medical appointment, or help care for a family member, the goal is the same:
See the whole elephant.
Better Tools for Patients, Caregivers and Healthcare Professionals
Our goal isn't to replace physicians. It is to make the conversation between patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals better.
Imagine arriving at a doctor's appointment with years of health records already organized into a concise medical narrative — including important diagnoses, medications, laboratory trends, investigations, hospitalizations and specialist recommendations.
Instead of spending precious appointment time reconstructing what happened three years ago, you can spend that time discussing what should happen next.
For people managing chronic illnesses, this can mean seeing how their health has changed over time.
For caregivers, it can mean having a clearer picture when advocating for an aging parent, spouse or family member.
And for anyone interested in preventive health, health optimization, healthy aging and longevity, it can mean understanding not only where their health stands today, but what information may be important for the years ahead.
Chronic Illness: Understanding Your Health Over Time
Living with a chronic condition is rarely about a single laboratory result or doctor's appointment.
Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, kidney disease, autoimmune conditions and other long-term health concerns are managed over years. Medications change. Laboratory values fluctuate. New investigations are performed. Specialists become involved. Recommendations evolve.
Omniara is designed to help bring that longitudinal health information together so patients can better understand how their health and chronic conditions have changed over time.
The objective is not simply to collect more health data. It is to make existing health information more understandable and useful.
Caregiver Support: Helping You Advocate for Someone You Love
Many people eventually become a caregiver.
You may be helping an aging parent navigate multiple specialists, keeping track of a spouse's medications after a hospitalization, accompanying a family member to appointments, or simply trying to understand a complicated medical history.
Caregiving often means becoming the unofficial keeper of the medical record.
Omniara is being designed with caregivers and care partners in mind: helping families organize medical records, understand a loved one's health history, prepare questions for medical appointments and advocate more effectively within a complex healthcare system.
You shouldn't have to reconstruct someone's entire medical history from memory every time you meet a new healthcare professional.
Longevity, Preventive Health and Healthy Aging
Healthcare shouldn't only be about understanding illness.
Increasingly, people want to understand how they can protect their health over the long term. They are interested in preventive healthcare, healthy aging, longevity, health optimization and understanding their personal health risks.
But meaningful longevity is about more than collecting biomarkers or chasing the latest health trend.
It begins with understanding the fundamentals: your medical history, family history, medications, laboratory trends, lifestyle, preventive care, screening history and established risk factors.
Omniara's approach to longevity and health optimization begins with that foundation. The objective is to help you understand where you are today, identify gaps in your health information and preventive care, and have more informed conversations with your healthcare professionals about where you want to go.
AI for Health — Without Having to Become an AI Expert
You shouldn't need to become an AI expert to benefit from AI.
Artificial intelligence and digital health technology are developing extraordinarily quickly. But powerful technology is only useful if people can actually use it.
You shouldn't have to learn prompt engineering. You shouldn't need to understand large language models. And you certainly shouldn't need to know the “right question” to ask a computer before it can help you navigate your own health information.
We are designing Omniara so the complexity happens behind the scenes.
You bring your health story. Omniara helps you make sense of it.
The Future of Personal Health Information
And this is only the beginning.
AI is evolving extraordinarily quickly. We believe healthcare should evolve with it — not technology for technology's sake, but technology that helps patients understand their health, caregivers advocate for the people they love, and clinicians spend more of their limited time thinking about patients rather than searching for information.
The future of digital health should not simply create more data.
It should help people understand the data they already have.
Help Us Build It
Omniara is being built by a small team with a genuine passion for improving the way people interact with their healthcare information.
Tell us what worked. Tell us what didn't. Tell us what confused you. Tell us what you wish Omniara could do.
And, most importantly, tell us your stories.
If Omniara helped you understand something about your health, organize your medical records, manage a chronic condition, prepare for an important doctor's appointment, advocate for a family member, think about preventive health and longevity, or simply feel more organized while navigating the healthcare system, we would love to hear about it.
Because your medical history shouldn't be a collection of disconnected documents. It should tell a story.
When patients, caregivers and clinicians can finally see that story together, we believe healthcare gets better.
Start with your own health story. Explore the Omniara intake below and begin building a clearer, more complete understanding of your health.
